Well, we were expecting a GNCC type atmosphere/turnout but to be honest we have more kids show up at our Hare Scrambles! Only 6 kids in Brendan's class, four locals and Grant Baylor, the GNCC points leader. Needless to say Brendan was second, Baylor was flying and the four locals weren't even in the same zip code.... Second place ponts are still good all things considered. The course was hard packed clay, not a rock on it, it took a while for the New Englaners to get used to it! Tanner Thomas was fourth in the 12-15 85 class and Eden Netelkos lapped the only other girl, possibly twice.... 12 hrs down Fri wasn't too bad but I tried to shoot back last night, hvy rain slowed us down and I had to take a power nap when I got to the CT border at 5 AM. I need agood night sleep tonoght! The PA race in two weeks is only 5 hrs away, that's gonna seem like my backyard!
