I think so- I had some pretty unpleasant experiences there in the past on my KDX- I think the first time I took a chunk out of my swingarm, broke my rear brake switch... then a few minutes later my front tire went flat after I fell and broke my front brake lever off... what a day. With a guy from Mass yesterday who said "let's head up there" and I was trying to change his mind without sounding like to much of a wimp. I thought the extra 200lbs of bike might help me so I gave in......(that was a joke, btw). Let me tell, you, I felt all 380 pounds on top of me several times. Last call was when I dumped it and bent the shift lever (badly), dented the tank and the bike was on top of me pouring fuel all over my legs. FUN, FUN, FUN. At that point, he said- Uh, maybe this wasn't a good idea. I think it was a combination- my inexperience, the trail, the bike and quite frankly, my concern over all three made me pretty nervous which did not help. When you get into a jam- that bike's heft is..... wow.
