We did the MSF off road school.  They run courses for any age or skill level.  You can find a training site by going to; www.msf-usa.org

Just a thought...
I started my daughter on a cheap Razor electric dirtbike just to see if she had any interest and capability.
She took to it very well and was ready for a gas bike in no time. When I got a gas bike to try (TTR50) she was scared. I think it was the noise ?
She's got a CRF70 now, that she loves and rides well, but I credit the ebike for getting her into it. I highly recommend the ebike as a starting point because they're very unintimidating (and cheap).

ride as much with them as possible. Its a great for bonding, and they love being in the woods, specially if they have a freind come along...

Consider a trials bike. We currently have a girl in the front running for the New England championship and another that rides the class below expert. Your daughter will probably enjoy watching all us old guys get our butts kicked by Louise and Caroline. Both of them will be representing the USA at the TdN in Andorra in Sept. Trials is quiet, takes a lot less space, is considerably safer then going fast for a newbie and we have youth classes at the NETA events.

A little ot...

Caroline put together one of the nices ride I saw all weekend on Expert 8. While I watched she was the only advanced rider to clean the section, and some good ones came through. She made it look sooooo easy. Very smooth and hit all her marks. I think she's going to be great!
