Course is looking Great!  Let's hope this fantastic weather continues and there are no Hurricanes for the PeeWees like last year!

Running the Jr Course backwards this year which means a few tough hills, the trailboss may cut them out for the minis but its is weather dependent, they aren't too bad when it's dry.

PeeWee courses should be great, same as the courses you guys missed out on last year!

See ya there and let me know if you have any Q's that aren't covered on the NETRA links

Bill,
The forecast is for rain on Saturday night with up to 1' of rain and clearing Sunday after 10AM, with that amount of rain, how will that effect the course or the race?

The course has a very solid base and drains well with the exception of a few small areas, we should be fine!

Hey, as long as there is no hurricane this year it's all good!

The place was in real good shape last weekend, a little mud in the real low areas but the woods were dry. The place dries out pretty fast if we do get rain on Saturday. It should be fine no matter what.

The dam keeps it from filling up with water!

There are a few sections near the water that can be an issue after heavy rain, we're using those trails for the Jr Enduro only, not the PeeWee.  Since the rain is forecast for Sat night there should be no problems.

The weather forecast last night was for the rain to end by Sun morning so we should be fine for both days!

The rain is gone and the weather looks to be perfect today!!!

Heading to the course now to set up and clean up a little from the rain/wind.

Let's see a big turnout for the last PeeWee of the Year!!!!!

Thank you for a great day!!! Glad the weather was nice to us and the trail was Perfect for the kids:) Didnt seem to be a big turn out Im sorry for that.  IMO i think maybe it being on a sunday had alot to do with it or alot may have thought because of the weather forecast that it would turn out to be a muddy slick trail like past events this year.   All was great and some missed out on agreat event and great day NO MUD at all just a few puddles but at least the kids werent going through 6" mud.  Kids ALL had a great day no crying, no broken bikes or most important no getting hurt.
See everyone at the banquet.

Hello-
Thank you for all the effort that was put in this past weekend at the Hodges Village Dam.    Bid learning curve for the kids with the water, rock, hills and roots. You guys did a great job setting up that course. It looked like all the kids had a good time in some great weather.
Thank you again

Glad you enjoyed!

That course is fast and fun when dry, we had a mini rider zero the full Jr enduro course at 24 mph on Saturday!!  add in 1 1/2" of rain and those rocks/roots get good and snotty, the good thing is that it's a solid base so we weren't worried about kids getting stuck.

Turnout was lower than hoped but everything has been a little low this year, this was one of the last event's of a long season so it's not unexpected.

Make sure you tell your friends when you come back next year!

BTW, we found a black Fox hoodie on the rocks near the start, PM me if you lost it.

Bill

Collin Soucy was the mini HP with a zero for all checks. Ben Kelly had the next best with one.

Brendan was on track to drop a 2 but crashed 100yds from the finish trying to make a pass.

Oh yea, and his jerk of a father burned him at a check for letting his front wheel cross the line early by 2"

Bottom line is that the course was real fast and the top Mini A kids were FLYING!

Thanks to all of the club members that worked and put on a great weekend in Oxford.  Zacharey LOVED the course and Jacob thought the hills were great.  You know the race is a success when the kids think it was a "cool" race.  Once again, thank you for putting on a great race...count us in for next year.
