TWO MINUTES to Help Open MORE Multiple Use Trails Nationwide
Dear NEDB,
You and thousands of other Americans took part in the President's American Great Outdoors Initiative and VOTED for IDEAS about your public lands. The President promised he would take the Top Voted Ideas and act on them. Perhaps the President did not expect people who enjoy Motorized and Mountain Bike recreation to speak up, but there is no doubt he has totally ignored us.
Half of the Top 40 Ideas are about wanting More Motorized and Mountain Bike Trails, as well as other Multiple Use Ideas. Your votes made me the Top Innovator Nationwide by a huge margin of almost two to one.
The President's America Great Outdoors 50 State Report did not include one single Motorized trail, Mountain Bike trail or Multiple Use Project even though a large part of the public VOTED for them.
At Save The Trails we had a feeling The President's America Great Outdoors Initiative was intended to justify more restrictions and more closures.
We made sure the public was engaged and thousands of you VOTED for multiple use trails which has allowed us to document the need for more motorized and mechanized trails. We need thousands of you to take action now to hold their feet to the fire and demand what we VOTED for.
Each person reading this needs to Take Two Minutes to tell agency staff we will not be ignored.
TAKE ACTION- Send Your Two Minute Letter Now
Click on the link below to send your Two Minute letter demanding More Motorized and Mechanized trails for you, your children and the public
http://www.savethetrails.us/Default.aspx?PetitionID=54

Some say there is no point in taking action, but THAT IS DEAD WRONG AND EXACTLY WHAT THE CLOSURE FOLKS ARE HOPING FOR.
We can make a difference and most certainly IF WE ARE SILENT WE WILL LOSE.
If you want to read more background information just click here, but please be sure to Send Your Two Minute Letter

The NO MORE TRAIL CLOSURES Program goes to Washington DC.
