I just wanted to drop a reminder to all for Plainville. It's going to be hot out there. Stay hydrated and keep mindful of your condition. Heat stress can creep up on you and put you in distress before you're aware you're in trouble. We've had a rider get in distress a few years ago and fortunately it was noticed by another rider who is an EMT before it became a serious problem.

* Drink plenty of fluids. Not just water but make sure you replace electrolytes so your body can process the water.
* Rest once in a while. A plastic trophy, no matter how big, isn't worth damaging your kidneys or cooking your brain.
* Be aware of how you feel. If you are getting spacy or feel cold, (happened to me) tell someone. Don't just continue to ride.
* Keep an eye on each other. Your friends may not know they're in trouble.

Hope to see you all there.
Dan
