Sept 9 the Winchendon Selectman’s Meeting. The Wachusett Valley Riders Club  was there to present a check for $2735 to the towns recreation committee for youth programs. The 20”x30” check was given to the selectman with the local cable and 3 newspapers covering it. After a standing ovation from the selectman and town manager the chairman Keith Barrows spoke about our differences in the beginning. He then continued on that we didn’t give up and now are an asset to the town. The selectman then presented Wachusett Valley Riders Club a certificate of recognition. “Wachusett Valley Riders Club for their generous donations in support of programs for the children of Winchendon, and showing by example to our youth that giving back to the community will always make you a winner. In gratitude, we are (undersigned) The Winchendon Board of Selectman.
They are going to hang the check in the lobby of town hall.

Cool.  Pete's a really good guy, and worked hard to keep that place rolling.
