Although I am not the Trail boss, as a club member I would like to get the word out for this great event.  Looks like a great loop again this year approx. 5.7 mile loop for mini's, Jr's, and c-riders and about 6.7 for the A/B loop.  We have worked the last two weekends cutting face slappers and blow downs.  This year we will be having overnight camping;  however a strick word of caution, gate is closed a 9pm and quiet time mandatory after 10pm.  Word is anyone not compling with the camping restriction will be ask to leave.  The loops are a mix of rocky, rooty terrain w/ wide open rows cut into the corn.  There has been some logging activity in the are that will increase the difficulty for the A's and B's.  Food will be available both day by the local grange; please try to support them.  We will be putting the finishing touches on the loops this weekend.  Any questions please call Mike Cap. or PM any Rhody Rover.  Thanks

As of now the event is still on. Remember this is New England and anything could happen. A couple of sunny, breezy days and it will be perfect.

Just got in from pulling all the road arrows and talking to Mike Molodich. He has a couple more fields to cut and should be done before Monday weather permitting. Any club members who were not at last nights meeting, we plan to meet at the farm Monday at 9:00 am to help cover the corn. He also said the payloader should be avalable to dig out the gully we filled for the parking access. I will call him Friday night just to virify they are ready for us. This is a great oppurtunity for the younger members not only to help build unity within our club but also experience what really drives this country.
The more members we have the quicker it will get done.
Check this site Saturday night. Hope to see a good crue up there.
We all can be very proud of each and every member that worked our great events this year. I would like to say that I am extemely proud of not only my own two sons, but all the Rhody Rovers, young and old, for such a fun and successful year of events.
GREAT JOB BY ALL,
Mike Cap
