You won't regret buying that Beta. I rode it in Wrentham a couple weeks ago. It's a great bike and in great shape.

Probably just a t-stat, jump the two wires going into it and the fan should come on. If that is it, I have them in stock.

Well here is the bike I picked up this winter. It is Bob Olson's 2001 270. Paid $2300. I was kinda trying to get something cheaper but this bike looks like it is 6 months old. Almost no wear on it. He was pretty meticulous to say the least. I have been practicing the standing still with the motor off a little this winter and just got so I can ride a little around the house but really hav't taken it on anthing serious yet.

Yeah Bob's crazy. After every ride he'd take the chain off and drop it in a bucket of STP. When he first gets a bike he strips it down and regreases every sliding/rotating/moving part.

Well it depends on what is ridable out there. I don't have anything fancy like Jareth but around my Dad's house there are a few rocks a pile of logs, an old sail boat and around the shop at work there is a mountain of logs, a pile of rocks a few random pieces of concrete and some piles of dirt and tractor I can move stuff around with to make it more fun. Haven't done anything at work yet but have had a lot on my plate lately and just go out around where I keep my bike. Trying to get use to the feel of the bike and just learn the basics like slow tight turns and standing still. Your welcome to join me if you want but I don't want you to be disappointed.

Dan I cleaned out the inbox.

Just be careful. We lost a top rider a few years ago playing in his yard on a pile of logs. Make sure your practice obstacles are stable. Especially if they are big enough to hurt you if they roll. Keep it safe.

Thanks for the heads up Dan.

Did the log pile shift and crush the rider?
