    I know it usually takes time to get the championship points settled out.  But it's been almost a month. 

I realize there were MAJOR issues with the morning races and scoring. Is there any ETA to when the championship points and promotion points will be posted up?

As far as I've been concerned they could have been posted the next day. I know Jerry waits to issue NETRA memberships to "New, and renewals" before he can post. I would guess that has been done for a bit. I do believe he is out of town however.

ok gentlemen,

i have been waiting for all the clubs to put their members in the database so we don't have a fiasco like last year. we are talking championship points for end of the year. i am totally dependent on the clubs to get their information in correctly. i will post the first one just before the second one, around may 15, giving the clubs up and until the last minute. this was with pete's approval.
the last month we have had a lot of new members looking for clubs and this will give them time to get the names in the system.

So what happens if someone wants to join NETRA (And a club) midway through the season and start racing Hare Scrambles or Enduros? Do they not get points as they didn't get into the club membership list before the end of May?

Thats what i asked at the beginning of the year. I was told that the "clubs" have a deadline to get all memebers in. So if they are waiting untill all the new members are in the database we won't have points posted all year. 
So if i read this correctly above club affiliation is gonna be retroactive now? As long as you have a club before the end of the year you are good for whatever races you did thru out the year?

you need to join a club and tell the secretary to put you in the netra database,you can go check the NETRA site to see if your on a club list,once your in,you can start to accumulate points

Club affiliation first then points will follow.

So why wait to post the points then for the ones who already have a club affiliation?

Once the points are posted there is no retroactive correction. Jerry typically waits until he has 2 events worth of results to post Championship points. I believe the enduros either went up yesterday or today. As soon as CATRA results are received the 1st 2 scrambles will go up.

Related to club affiliation I understand there will be NO retroative correction.  You need club affiliation to get points;  however if you join a club mid-season you will get point from there on out.  I want to know if at the end of the year if a club member does NOT forfill his minimum club requirments does his removal react retroactivley.  Thus removing a member not in good standing from the points for all year.

If it doesn't the crap will hit the fan, we have already started developing the dead beat list. When 41/2 guys have to sweep 140 miles something is wrong, considering 3 of those guys also arrowed the previous day

Same Here.  of the 48 "active racing members" uploaded; in my club, 32 have not shown for meetings, inquired about work party's, or even paid dues.  At the end of the year these guys are going to have a bullseye on their back.  While about 10-12 guys have been working on the enduro and Turkey Run.

BTW how do you get 3 1/2 sweep riders?

He had to bail at mile 60, he was soaked and frozen, only with a riding jersey, all of us were wet and cold, some were just alittle more prepared
Had to correct first post, there was 4 1/2, forogt about the enduro trailboss [:)]

and only wearing jeans with no gloves. He's new to this whole adventure riding thing.[:D]
