What am I missing? under 200 kb-yes, physical size?
have moderated on multiple boards so know the ins and outs but unable to make work here?

Upload it, then put a check mark in the "Embed picture in post" box.

You sent me a Bitmap file, site doesn't support that type file, I converted it to a JPEG.

What program did you use to convert it? It was originally a pdf file, saved it to paint, and then saved as jpeg, which my pc said it was and still does but couldn't upload where as other say jpeg and can upload

On this same topic;  How do guys sometimes post oversized images within the post. Rather than a small size attachment.  I would like to post an event flyer for the Rhody Rover; however have not been able to figure it out

thanks for the info csmutty;  I uploaded images to photobucket, checked item wanted to paste, right clicked on IMG address and tried to embed picture in post;  however still got only the address and a small thumbnail.

what am "I" doing wrong.

Paul, you were 90% of the way there.  The problem is you used the "Embed picture in post" which is what you would do if the image was on your computer.  You already had the image on photobucket so you can hotlink to it.  To do that you do the following:

To do that, just click this button > [image]http://www.nedirtbikes.com/content/rteimages/image.gif[/image] and paste the image url in the box.

Ed;  maybe I am 95% there now.  Under our 2008 Little Rhody Enduro thread; 

I clicked on the above shown add image icon, I was prompt to temporary allow script,  the add url box came up, I pasted the photobucket url in box and clicked OK.  A small image icon appeared within post;  however when I submitted post no image appeared.  I appreciate all the help you moderators provide.
