Thanks for the replies guys.  I will pencil you in for a check providing the weather and your schedules work out.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Bobby,  dealing with all the private land owners is a constent challenge!

See if you can talk Mark into this ride, this year!

Paul,
I would love to come down to your event, it won't be this year tho. We'll see after the kids get a little older.

As always thanks to everyone that has helped out;  the problem w/ thanking individuals is that someone gets missed. Thanks Baron and Mike for the SS work.

Route Sheet is done and it will be proofed this week w/ a long ride

Less than two weeks to go!! Pre-entries are rolling in,  remember I plan on doing the drawing for pre-entries one WEEK from today!

Last year we had a ton of enduro newbies come out and ride w/ there buddies all day,  who's planning on making this event?

Mike and Paul, thanks are not needed but I do appreciate the acknowledgement. I enjoy the time I spend working on these projects.

I can't wait to get home and finish getting ready for the event...It is a little toasty here in Sedona today...a dry 110 (dry is still **** hot)... How the hell do they run an enduro out here???

Here is a picture from yesterday when we arrived... It was taken at the Sedona Airport (KSEZ) looking east...

Hoping my leg is healed enough from my digger at the KPTR run to make this one.  Last year was one of the most fun runs of the year.   Next to the RocktoberFast, of course

This years event is going to be even better! There is going to be approx. 20 miles of trail that has not been used in past or recent enduros.

Here is some of the newest info I have on our event;

We will be running a CASH payout through one of our toughest sections
Toyota; one of our series sponsors, gives each club $250 to display their trucks.  We are going to take this money and give back to the people who deserve it, THE RIDERS!  One section, and the TOP rider from each ability class win CASH.
AA gets $100
A gets  $75
B gets  $50
C gets $25
Come and try to win your take of the TOYOTA TUNDRA CHALLENGE!

Additionally;  to other bits that are still coming together.  COX media RI's largest cable provider will hopefully doing a special feature on New England extreme sports.  They have contacted us to do a full day of filming for a PPV feature film in the future.  They may be combine groung footage with helmet cam footage.  Although this is still in the works it apprears to be about a 75% done deal.

Lastly;  Mike Lafferty has spoken to one of our club members,  the nationals and ECEA both have an off weekend and he has expressed some real interest in coming up and riding this event.  Today I also recieved two other entries from ECEA riders.  Mike interest w/ his busy schedule it more like 60/40.  I am hopeful, we will see.

How cool would it be to start a head of a pro and have him pass you in every section? Could have a chance to see how a pro handles our terrain as he flies by you.

It aint nothing special. It would be just like Brooksy passing you in our NE stuff. Down in Jersey/Delaware it was a sight to see...

I'm getting all my posts logged in one day;  I will wait for any and all BTR entries before drawing!  Looks like Wednesday for drawing.  Any chance my buddy Bob can come out and ride; what once was NETRA easiest enduro?  Give it a whirl; Bobbler, and give me some feedback on how to set up and run an AMA enduro, I appreciate your time keeping and enduro rules experience.

Just got done proofing the second half.  All I can say is holy cow, I wish I could compete in this event.  But;  I guess riding the whole course 4 times is my reward.   My best discription of how this event is layed out is a mix of KPTR terrain and CT ramblers.  No stoppers; however, some great technical rocky sections.  We have one section that is minus any rocks,  very "Jersey esk".

Weather is looking great; keep your fingers crossed.

Pre-entries are over 50 (min 20); I am delaying drawing till Wednesday to allow every one a good position.

Reset are ample; AMA rules,

In addition to trophies, tons of give aways and cash;  davebrewed made plaques for the "toyota challenge winners"  does it get any better than a cash award and a plaque with windorman on it
