Pre-entries up to 60;  however one very dispointing statistic.  Last year at this time I had 20 C-rider pre-entries,  today I have 3.

All the talk last year about the enduro school, promoting C-rider involvement, using AMA rules to ride with your buddies all day, blah, blah, blah. Sounds like all lip service;  WTF I don't know the answer.  KTM, Gas Gas and Husky all out sell jap. bikes for woods riders and they all can be registered VERY easy.  I don't think registration is the problem; hell, the classic had 500 registered dirt bikes.

Many of us got promoted to B because there were so few of us showing up every weekend.

I notice one thing when they talk about turkey runs having such great attendance, most of the guys never ride the whole event, the 500 riders at the classic,Id be shocked if 50% managed the entire ride, some bail at the first gas stop, they ride half and pack up and leave, for example when we got back to tuckers, there couldnt have been 6 vehichles left in the parking lot!

As long as they don't ask for a refund..................

I'm struggling a little with that now, working on the Dualsport/Turkey run. When to call it good enough. No sence setting up a ride that no one will finish. We rode all of the DS at BTR. I think alot bailed at gas when the rain came but many finished after we did.

It sounds impressive to say "yea, I rode a 130 mile event last weekend", but leave out the part about not finishing. So long as everyone has fun I guess. Further inforces my theory that there is a whole contingent of riders out there who want a fun, easy ride "offroad".

Yah, even less when we got back. You guys were packed and gone. OK, more beers for me.

The wet made that tough for guys that aren't riding that type of stuff every weekend. It's a fine line between too tough and too easy. I think the route options were a great idea and made sure everyone had a good time.

You could blame it on gas prices!

What is the story w/ gas stops for a C-rider?  Gas back at start, gas truck or bring oil & buy at local gas station?

non-preregistered C-rider......

Gas back at the start, for most bikes this should be enough to get through the event.  There is gas available a few places en route but you'd need someone carrying a can for you to the spot.

The Tundra Challenge section is all set for tomorrow. This section is very well arrowed, W`ed and ribboned. This small piece of land has a lot of tight trails that might come close to each other in spots. Please be advised that there may be observation checks in this section as well as course workers keeping an eye on things in this section.

Excellent +2 post, any rider would hate to loose all that hard work for a quick course cut.  Thanks

I think you did write that there would be a challenge for C riders, I don't know if that scared anyone off like the BTR's guys like to do....

Last year 4 criders  are now promoted to B that just I know of like Brian said and I'm sure there are more.

I just wanted to say thanks to the Rhody Rover guys for a great Enduro Sunday.  Had a great time, great terrain & a well run event.  I could tell you guys put a lot of effort into it and it showed.

Can't wait to do it again next year (and not get lost & burn a check by 13 minutes!!!!)

Thanks again

Thanks to the entire Rhody Rovers club members, families, & friends for the work effort to again host a great, challenging enduro.  2X for pulling my son's bike from a tree weggie at the end of the Tundra Challenge section, as well as the picture that we'll cherish forever!
---Mike S

p.s. Did anyone take pictures of and post the result cards?
