Whats the schedule look like for the end of the week? .....

Good question! I didn't make it up yesterday, went today to meet with PD and FD (nice to give them some warning). I tried to go to Rocky afterward but found Hall's Hill blocked by a line truck, lots of limbs and branches down in the area so we probably need to check the course. Hopefully we will hear from a Trail Boss soon.

Ya you will hear from a trail boss soon, like now. Shawn and I were up there on Saturday with a group of brave souls in the monsoon and tordanos clearing trail, it was a good time, heh heh. Both coarses are looking pretty good, just a couple of blow downs need to be taken care of and that will happen tomorrow and Wednesday. Arrowing will happen mostly Wed. and we will all be up there all day on Friday to tie up loose ends. There will be plenty to do from Wednesday on. Shawn will be up there on Thursday afternoon doing what ever he can while waiting for the porta-potties. Wednesday, Friday and the weekend will need the most help and be the busiest. If someone wants to help Shawn on Thursday his number is 603 647 2534.

On another note Factory Connection will be on site Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, they will have full trackside support. You can view there full press release on our club site at http://www.mvtr.org/ check it out.

I just want to thank everybody that has helped out so far, it has made a huge difference. We still, however, need lots of help so come on up on Wednesday or Friday (8:00am at McDonalds or 8:30am at the site) and lend a hand. Arrows to the start will be up for late arrivals on Friday and for the weekend help.

That's all for now.

JT

It won't be a dust bowl but if we get a monsoon anything will be a little sloppy. Is that vague enough?

I can't take a full day off this week but I can get an afternoon off to lend a hand.

Pete

Weather this week calls for intermitent showers so I doubt it will be a dust bowl and unless it rains the day of the event it should'nt be muddy.

Shawn and Jon will be at Rocky on Wednesday, one or both of them will be there throuhgout the end of the week. The Anthonys will be there at least Friday working on the Pee Wee. I believe the HS and Jr Enduro courses will be arrowed Wednesday with detail work (Start, grass track, tech check area, pits, GPS) being addressed Thursday and Friday.
Still plenty to do. All clubs put in a lot of work, some more then others, MVTR has always strived to raise the bar, and in almost all venues we have, but it is only as a result of membership participation we can be the best.
Thank you in advance for your help. Rocky Mtn Weekend committee and all HS riders.

Shawn and Jon, are you meeting at the McDs tomorrow morning?...8am?

Is that at the traffic circle at 4, 202 and 28?

Wednesday is the best day for me to escape so I'll head up...what should I bring for tools?

Jim.

Talked with Shawn today, I would advise bringing a staple gun, holster, method to hold arrows and a bike.  They will be arrowing the junior enduro course.

Meet at McDonalds on the Alton traffic circle (rt. 28 & 11) at 8:00 or at the site at 8:30. We will be arrowing and ribboning both the HS and JR enduro coarses as well as getting final mileages. We have quite a few arrow pouches w/ staple hammers but if you have that stuff please bring it. If time allows we will also be banging some stakes as well so come prepared, there is still quite a bit of stuff to take care of.

Thanks in advance.

Good, bad or indifferent the Rocky Weekend will happen, it just means more work. Viper77 was camping in Alton last week, helped out on Saturday, sounds like his campground took a direct hit, luckily he and his family were in Windham.
The pressures building, our core group has been at Rocky since yesterday and will stay until Sunday 0dark-thirty.
See you all up there. Please?
