I was refering to using it to mount tube-type rears. It's common practice to dust tubes with powder for knobies etc but they run higher pressures. We run as little as 3 psi and tires will slip for sure if any gets between the bead and the rim - even with two rim locks. As it is, even if the tire doesn't slip, tubes tend to creep around at the low pressures we run. Deflating the tire to straighten a valve stem is routine with tube-type rears.
