Friday morning we left Crested Butte around 8:30 am and headed back to Snowmass.

Started the day with a trip through Cement Creek Road, a jeep road instead of Cement Creek Trail...our leader felt that the trail would have been too rough for some folks in our group...

Stopped at the top of American Mt along the way and took some pictures.

After this we went to Weidner's Cabin for a fantastic lunch. This is a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

Left the cabin and headed towards the Lilypond trail where some of our group took the easy way back and some of us continued.  After the lilypond trail we got some more gas and headed for the "slimey trail". This single track trail contains alot of rocks, roots, and "don't look down" spots.

Stopped at Taylor Pass and took a jeep road into Aspen.  Rode about 25 miles of highway back to the ranch where we all left our stuff for the week. Ended the day around 3PM.

total for Friday was around 125 miles.
