Palin is an avid snowmobiler and here husband had a sled dealership at one time
I heard on a cable network that it was a power sports dealership. Snowmobile, watercraft & ATV.

No news yet from either group regarding my pro/against questions...

In other news, I'm fairly certain that the elected officials from this election will not accomplish much in short order because of Congress and the Senate...

How about Ted Kennedy... Too sick to go to work but fine to go to a multi-day party in Denver... I'd get fired for that, like most of us would.

Podium time here:::

IMO. We as a country need to update (flush) the stale, semi-sleeping, barely attentive, totally disfunctional, and selfish-motivated lawmakers are currently in place. Vote for change but make an educated decision... Ask questions it will baffle them.

Change will not come from new politicians but from us...

Yesterday at work I actually heard a guy rooting on Obama, his reason was the current administration allowed adjustable rate mortages and he refinanced his house a couple times and then lost it because the goverement should not have allowed it.  Where is the freaking responsibility.

And when I say rooting he was ranting.

To some point he's correct but the responsibility still lies on the one with the pen in hand, it's these scum sucking mortgage brokers that will do anything for their cut.  They shouldn't be able to do this kind of thing, IMO.    It's great to get a person approved for 3% loan but shouldn't it take into account that in 4-5 years what the person will be paying.  Granted--the person signing knows how to read.  The whole thing is rediculously screwed up!

The mortgage companies were threatened with sanctions because they were not giving out enough mortgages to "Disadvantaged" people. So all of a sudden you didn't need a down payment or even an income to get a mortgage. Blame Barney Frank, he was behind the change. As far as adjustable rates, Buyer Beware. If they we so stupid to not understand they should not be home owners. Another huge factor are the people who were "Flipping" houses as well as the people refinancing to pull equity out and then buying cars and boats that they were now paying for for 20 years. The inflated housing market went south (or corrected itself) and they are now all crying. Too bad! Live within your means

BINGO!  People don't jump off bridges every day, but they can.  So just just because someone will give you a loan, it doesn't mean you should take it.

God I'm loving this. Next we're going to have a "Republican trail ride" where the fast guys get out front and if you can't keep their tail lights in view...you double back to the truck' load and head home.

You will never see a "democrat trail ride" they are the ones closing the forests to us and gas prices will be too high to ride anyway, and you will be taxed from existance.

Just like equity loans.  Example; I have about 200K in equity in my house.  I could get a loan for it to use for _______. (you fill in the blank) Problem is that I can't afford to pay anymore than I already pay.  so That equity that I have means Nada!  There are people out there that don't understand that you can't borrow money unless you can afford to pay it back!
No one elses fault but their own when they got an adjustable rate.  I bet most of them were thinking that they would refinance when the rates started going up and they got caught with their pants down.  Oh well!

Yep, or they defaulted for 60 days on there current loan and the bank wouldn't let them refinance because their credit went to crap.

I know one thing, it's not the goverments fault when you take equity out on your house and can't pay it back.
Some Democrats!!!

Who wants a president with the initials  B.O.

Something don't smell right to me.

The last Democrat administration gave us the "Roadless Initiative".

I'm voting McCain.  I voted for him in 2000 in the Republican Primary which GW Bush ended up taking, but he's still the right man for the job.

McCain, all the way. American hero. Hot rich wife, fortune from beer.

Palin: Snowmobile connection is as close as we're gonna get in the White house. As real as a politician gets.

Obama: no experience. Affirmative action gone haywire. Wife scares me.

Biden: foot&mouth disease. Old school, Obama calls this nut "change"?

Vote McCain.

Theyre both pretty liberal (yes, I think mccain is liberal too) but Id say mccain would do the least damage to offroad riding. Obama already has tax increases planned on fuel and wants to implement a cap and trade system on CO2 despite there not being 100% proof GW even exists. Its all a means to tax 'sins' and grow government bureaucracies.
