I'll be the guy trail bossing the 1st Short course at the DeMoranville farm.
I'm going to try my hardest to make this one of the easier courses of the year.  I know everyone loves the rock gardens, but I'm going to try to route around them where applicable. The sand track wont have any of those fun 180 turns that everyone gets stuck in either

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday March 14th, look for me sweeping with my race numbers on and let me know what you think of the course. I'm always looking for things to change to make for a better race.

I am interested in trying out these harescrambles. What do I need to do to be ready to race? I am orv plated only and do not belong to any clubs at the moment. I just dont want to show up there and not be able to ride because I didn't join AMA or something. This would be my first race ever and I do not want to spend alot on joining a bunch of clubs if I find racing is not for me. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Correct,  Join the club (20$ for the year) and pay to race for the day.
if you decide you had a great time (i hope you do) then the next PSTR race you come to, you only have to pay that race fee so it'll be cheaper.

I am confused, why did this get moved to clubs. I understand if you want it in both places but it is a race and it should be in the Rides, Race and Event thread. This way people who do not belong to a club know of the race and can make the decision on if they want to go or not. I wish other clubs that had local races would post in this thread so I notice it and could take advantage of there race. Club threads are good for club news and anouncements.

it was moved due to Geoffs comment, which was spurred by another thread being moved to the PSTR forum which was intended for current club members only.

"The other thread" was intended for every body to see.  It effects riders and racers and anyone who might ever be wanting to be a member of PSTR. It was intended for former and future members of PSTR and should be for all to see and witness the outcome. It was moved to control veiwing. Be honest with yourself.
PSTR short course races belongs in the riding and racing forum and should be put back there. All those short course racers will be club members and should be veiwing my original thread where I put it, in the riding racing and events forum. I think riding racing and voting are more closely linked than you think.

A moderator should not be so reckless with the authority and honor of being a moderator.

No this weather won't affect the race date. Let's hope for more warmer temps and some sun to dry things out a little though.

This event is on rain or shine.
You guys will like the course, it shouldn't be too bad, even if it's really wet.
