I'm would love to be the fly on the wallwatching all the out of stater wheelers pulling up and seeing they can't get in.

It's already posted on the BoT website and there will be a sign at the gate redirecting.
The work will be going on for up to 2 years so they'll have plenty of time to figure it out.

They seem to be allowing people to park and enter at Winslow road in the small gravel/dirt area. Not sure if it's official or they are just not enforcing.

I can see that causing issues. Maybe there should be some no parking signs there? ATV's (and bikes) getting caught riding down the road can/will get a pretty big fine.

I spoke with the State yesterday.
They are putting up signs.
They had opened the gate to prevent a pile up of vehicles at the entrance. ( those who didn't know to go around)
The gate will be closed now and cars that park there will be ticketed.
