No luck - "Firefox can't find the server at www.pstr.org."

Today I can get to the home page of  http://pstr.org/  from verizon.com - but get a network DNS error for each of the selections on the left column.

From a different ISP - verizon.net, going to http://pstr.org/  - I get "URL is not valid and cannot be loaded".

Weird stuff going on here.  It's got me thinking that the DNS entries from the server service provider are not making it all the way to Verizon.

i agree Ernie.

if you know how to change the dns servers on your computer, i suggest trying opendns.    http://www.opendns.com/  (its free to use)

we've been using them at work and home for almost a year, its an awesome service.

Now it's happened to me. I have tried to log in this morning but get an error message "the DNS server may be experiencing problems".

Likewise!  Looks like the problems are resolved.

Yes the sever tech figured it out. This what they sent me:

After further investigation and a couple other clients that are having the same issue since yesterday we looked into this further and found the issue to be with the data center's ip allocation for our ip's. Some how our ptr records were removed on your server's ip's and we are working to get this restored.

Best regards,
Fred Ackerman
