Join together with trail users from the BPC, CFPA, CTNEMBA, CTU, LCRVHC,
NETRA, SPROCKIDS, and SRCR for a day of trail maintenance. Work will be along a
¾ mile section of the orange blazed trail in the Cockaponset State Forest. This trail is
located south of Beaver Meadow Road in Haddam. Projects will include laying
turnpike with materials provided by the DEP, stream bank armoring and water bar
installation. Volunteers may bring shovels or garden rakes all other tools will be
supplied. Bring a dish for an outdoor pot-luck cook out.

Time: Saturday June 2, 9 AM start. No set end time
Meeting Place: Commuter Parking lot at Exit 8 (Beaver Meadow RD) off of RT 9.
Registration: Required, but walk-ins welcome.
